Data-driven breakdowns on housing markets, cost of living, and investing — built for the generation that actually has to live with these numbers.
About Andrew
I'm a real estate investor who got frustrated watching my generation navigate one of the hardest financial landscapes in decades — sky-high housing costs, stagnant wages, and a whole lot of noise where straight answers should be.
So I started doing what I do best: running the numbers. I built custom Excel models to analyze housing markets, cost of living, and stock valuations — and I started sharing the process in real time on TikTok. No fluff. No vague advice. Just the data, the math, and the honest verdict.
Ask Andrew started as a way to share what I was already doing for myself. It turned into something bigger — a community of people who are done being confused about money and ready to actually understand their options.
Whether you want to buy your first home, figure out if your city is actually affordable, or just know if a stock is worth buying — this is the place for real answers.
Content Series
Real estate isn't a side interest — it's where Andrew has spent his career. He's worked as an Asset Management Analyst in commercial real estate, and in Investor Relations and Capital Markets on the development side, where he worked directly with institutional investors and helped structure and communicate deals. He's also an active residential real estate investor who isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. From executing fix-and-flip deals and BRRRR strategies, to managing Section 8 and subsidized rental properties, vetting property managers, and navigating the realities of evictions — Andrew has been in the trenches. These series are built on that foundation — not theory, but real-world experience translated into numbers anyone can understand.
Andrew analyzes housing markets across the U.S. to answer one brutal question: can someone earning a median household income actually afford a starter home here? He walks through the property search, the Excel model, DTI, credit benchmarks — and delivers the verdict.
Real Estate · Housing MarketsMarket by market, Andrew runs the real numbers on whether it makes more financial sense to rent or buy — and then goes further, asking which choice is more practical given what the data shows. No generic advice. Just the math for your market.
Real Estate · Housing MarketsBeyond real estate, Andrew wanted to share his broader expertise with the world — using Excel as a lens to make sense of real problems that affect everyday people. From breaking down the true cost of living using MIT's Living Wage data, to analyzing stocks through the eyes of a value investor and student of Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett, these series reflect a simple belief: that with the right model and the right data, complex financial questions have clear answers.
Using MIT's Living Wage Calculator, Andrew builds a custom cost-of-living model to determine if the median household income is actually livable. Then he maps out the three paths forward — earn more, cut expenses, or go further into debt — and shows you what each choice really costs over time.
Cost of Living · Personal FinanceAndrew picks a publicly traded company and puts it through a custom DCF model to find its intrinsic value. The result? A clear, data-backed verdict: Buy, Sell, or Hold. No hype. No hot takes. Just the numbers.
